I am entering a phase where I have several friends who have just had or are pregnant with their second babies. I'm trying to figure out what to get them as a gift. Some of the suggestions that have been given to me include:
- Gift certificate to diapers.com
- If the baby is a different gender, or born in different season....clothes
- Food/gift basket, such as those from Zingermans
- Personalized items, such as a hooded towel or blanket
If you have more than one child, what did you appreciate receiving for your second? If you've given gifts, what do you like giving? 
For the second one, I enjoyed blankets, new burp cloths (personalized or not), diaper/wipe carrier/changing mat, personalized labels (sippy cup or luggage tag), hair bows, gift certificate to target, diaper covers for girl (a pink or white one) . . .feel free to visit Mama Joy and Co. :-) (we will do custom orders and will be on etsy soon).
