Menu of the Week

Here's a bit of what I've been cooking lately...

Butternut Squash Carbonara, Salad
It's fun finding new recipes via blogs.  I stumbled across this one and happened to have most of the ingredients already on hand.  I added bacon to last week's grocery list and decided to give this one a try.  It's yum.  I personally think you could scale back the bacon and increase the squash, but my husband disagreed and said it was perfect as written.  Both boys chowed as well.  Since I used prechopped frozen squash, it was super easy to pull together too. 

Turkey Mini Meat Loaves, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans

Chicken Scallopini, Broccoli, Rice

Turkey and Cheese Paninis, Sliced Veggies and Dip

Dessert: 
Chocolate Chip Cookies - Straight from the back of the chocolate chip bag, I made the original Tollhouse cookie.  And man are they tasty.  I don't make these very often, but there's a reason they are a classic.
