I finally read The Poisonwood Bible
, by Barbara Kingsolver. It's amazingly well-written, heart-wrenching, and eye-opening. It transports you to the Congo, and it helps remind us of all the things in our lives that we take for granted. Cars, refrigerators, ice cream, bug spray... Most people I know have already read - and loved - it, but if by chance you haven't, please put it on your must-read list.
