I watched Atonement
again this weekend. By myself, Saturday night, beer in hand....it seemed like a good choice, and it was. I had seen it in the theater, but it was worth watching again. I adored the book
, and although the movie doesn't quite measure up - no movie can totally capture a book - it comes close. It is exquisite. The entire movie is gorgeous. That green dress! Stunning. I am not sure anyone else could wear it the way Keira does. Even though it is tragic, the beauty is what strikes me most.
