Inspired by this post, I decided to buy some flowers for myself. I let the little boy pick them out, and he chose these pretty and very fragrant purple hyacinth. I probably wouldn't have chosen them, so it's good that I left it up to him. This little splash of purple and the lovely scent I smell every time I walk through the dining room helped brighten up an otherwise dreary and snowy (yet again!) weekend.
