This week's Three Beautiful Things:
1. I've spent the last few nights after dinner playing baseball with the boys. Looking forward to many more years of playing with them. I hope my pitching skills improve.
2. I managed to refrain from ice cream for about a week, and chocolate-covered pretzels were the reason. I need just a little something sweet at night. Of course, this week I have the pretzels and the ice cream, so I guess it's one step forward, two steps back, but that's alright.
3. For the past week or two, we've been listening to a mix of bands/singers that we will see this weekend in Newport. When First Aid Kit began singing "Emmylou", Aaron declared it his favorite song, and we listened to it three times in a row. I loved sneaking glances at him learning the words and singing along. I hope we get to hear some of their favorite songs performed live this weekend!
